Yeah! Metallica Releasing 27 Live Albums This Year
For the past 10 years through LiveMetallica.com, Metallica has provided fans with soundboard-recorded downloads of the 
majority of their live performances. To commemorate the first decade of the site, Metallica will be releasing CDs of every show they’ve played in 2014.
Most of these gigs occurred across Europe and South America (with the exception of Heavy MTL), and were ‘Metallica by Request’ performances, where fans voted to determine each set list.
Each Monday – through to the end of the year – Metallica will release three live albums through site. To kick things off, performances from Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru have been made available. In December, the band will issue a box set consisting of all 27 shows.
What’s more, four of these shows will be turned into limited edition, 180-gram vinyl releases. Just like with the set lists, fans will get to determine which make the cut. Voting runs through September 28, with the vinyl editions becoming available in early 2015.
