Watch the Will Ferrell & Chad Smith (RHCP) Drum Off!
After months of trash-talking and ego-stroking, comedian Will Ferrell and drummer Chad Smith (of the Red Hot Chili Peppers) finally took to the stage for a highly-anticipated drum off. The venue was The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and the winner was….well, we don’t want to spoil that for you quite yet.
What we can say, is that both gentlemen brought some added funds and exposure to the charities they played for (Cancer for College and Little Kids Rock) and that Ferrell eventually whipped out a cowbell before Smith’s band hit the stage for a cover of Blue Oyster Cult’s “Don’t Fear the Reaper.”
Oh, and our guess is that Ferrell may have had a little ghost-drumming assistance from Questlove of The Roots. That’s just our speculation.

That was awesome! I’m not a huge Will Ferrall fan, but I do like Jimmy, and of course, I have a little knowledge of the “Red Hot Chili Peppers”, but that aside, it was a fun video. Thanks for sharing!
