Watch Weezer Corrupt a Church in “Thank God for Girls” Video

In case you didn’t find the original lyric video for Weezer’s “Thank God for Girls” weird enough, the band has come back with an official clip for its first new song since the release of 2014’s Everything Will be Alright in the End album.

Here, Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo plays the role of a corrupt minister at a church. As he spreads the gospel according to him, Cuomo’s cohorts aggressively grab donations from those in the pews. Where does the money go? Definitely not to God. Unless you consider your God to be a shady, backroom poker game comprised of scantily clad women and sketchy fellas.
