Watch Noel Gallagher Perform with U2 Last Night in London
Last night, U2 performed at London’s O2 Arena and welcomed Noel Gallagher to the stage for a charming rendition of “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” before dropping into a cover of The Beatles’ “Love is All You Need.”
During Bono’s introduction of Gallagher, he referred to the former Oasis leader as one of his “heroes.” In an interview earlier this year, Gallagher described Bono as one of his favourite drinking buddies.
“Bono, he is really fucking brilliant company,” said Gallagher. “I’ve been drinking with him, and I’ve been leaving a bar at 6 in the morning and he’s on the bar singing opera. And he’s got a fucking gig the following night with 70,000 people. And I’m being escorted out like James Brown – fucking pissed.”
