Watch HBO’s Clip of St. Vincent Doing Nirvana’s “Lithium”
In April at the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies, Nirvana opted to bring in a collection of female vocalists to perform renditions of some of their biggest hits. Joan Jett tackled “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” Kim Gordon did “Aneurysm,” Lorde put her spin onto “All Apologies,” while Annie Clark of St. Vincent did a celebrated version of “Lithium.”
While amateur videos of these moments surfaced plentifully after the ceremony, we have yet to see how they looked through the lens of official broadcaster, HBO. Ahead of the channel presenting the ceremony on Saturday night at 8pm EST, a clip of St. Vincent digging into “Lithium” has been released.
