Watch Bring Me the Horizon Destroy Coldplay’s Award Show Table

Tonight at the NME Awards, Bring Me the Horizon became the latest band to trash Coldplay. This time, however, it was done in the form of table destruction – not a tongue lashing.

After Bring Me the Horizon frontman Oli Sykes exited the stage during a performance of “Happy Song,” he stepped up onto Coldplay’s table and proceeded to demolish it. You can watch footage of that below.

Coldplay guitarist Jonny Buckland abandoned the table as the stomping began, while vocalist Chris Martin later commented, “It was great, very rock n’ roll.” He also admitted to not previously knowing about Bring Me the Horizon.

Oh yeah, this dining table demolition crew also won the evening’s Innovation Award.
