Slipknot to Kanye: “You Are Not The Greatest Living Rock Star”
You can add Slipknot’s Corey Taylor to the list of notable rockers who have an informed opinion about the ego-maniac that is Kanye West.
As you may recall, West headlined the Saturday night of Glastonbury this year and proclaimed to the audience, “You’re watching the greatest living rock star on the planet!” Let’s take a moment to appreciate the ballsiness of that comment for a second, considering that it was made at a festival that generally keeps hip-hop away at a safe distance.
Good? Great.
In response to that self-proclamation, Taylor issued a quick message to West via Music Choice.
“Kanye, you are not — not — the greatest living rock star of all time. The fact that you had to tell people that kind of says it all. You remind me of the guy who brags about pussy. They never get as much as they brag about. Stop it. [Slaps wrist] Stop it!”
Does that mean West will not be making a surprise appearance at this summer’s Knotfest?
