Slayer Guitarist Wears “Kill the Kardashians” T-Shirt

While many of us have our reasons for hating the annoyingly rich and famous Kardashian family, Slayer’s reasoning may make the most sense. As Metal Injection reminds us, young Kendall Jenner (younger sister to Kim Kardashian) wore a Slayer t-shirt last year while hosting the MuchMusic Video Awards. To think she’s an actual fan, is to think that Slayer could successfully put on a concert for a church full on nuns.

Well, last night during Slayer’s performance at The Paramount in Long Island, NY, guitarist Gary Holt made his beef with the Kardashian clan perfectly clear: by wearing a black t-shirt that reads “Kill the Kardashians” in noticeable white print.

Based on the amazing album artwork and imagery Slayer often has, it would’ve been cool to see this message emblazoned across a t-shirt featuring, blood, guts and perhaps even a mutilated ass. That would be such a Slayer thing to do. Ah well, maybe next time.

As previously reported, Slayer will release Repentless on September 11. It will be the band’s first album since 2009’s World Painted Blood, as well as its since the passing of guitarist Jeff Hanneman.
