The Raconteurs & Loretta Lynn Unearth Song from 1955
At last night’s Jack White show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, The Raconteurs reunited on stage and served as the backing band for a pair of tracks with country music legend Loretta Lynn.
Together, they performed “Portland, Oregon” (a song that appeared on Lynn’s White-produced 2004 album, Van Lear Rose), as well as “Whispering Sea,” a song that Lynn hasn’t performed since recording it in 1955.
