Pearl Jam Perform “Yield” Front-to-Back in Milwaukee

Pearl Jam has long been regarded as one of those bands that don’t stick to a setlist script from night to night. On their current run across America, however, Eddie Vedder and the fellas have really been flipping the script of late.

After performing their under-rated 1996 album, No Code, in its entirety on Friday night in Moline, IL, Pearl Jam took the same approach last night in Milwaukee by playing 1998’s Yield front-to-back.

But, the fun didn’t end there. Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick (who coincidentally supported Pearl Jam on parts of the Yield tour) joined the band for a version of The Who’s “Baba O’Riley.”

The 36-song set also included a cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down,” Neil Young’s “Fuckin’ Up,” while the “The Star Spangled Banner” closed out the night.
