Matthew Good Raising Money for Burial of SIDS Victim

Renowned Canadian musician Matthew Good has launched an online fundraising campaign so that a family friend can afford to matthew-good-1-smallbury her child.

Good explains that a friend of his wife recently lost her seven-month-old child to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), and is unable to afford the costs associated with final arrangements. Thus, the musician is hoping to raise at least $5,000 for the burial.

“No parent should have to bury a child,” says Good. “Even more, no parent should be unable to bury a child because of the cost involved. It is, to me, an outrageous reality of our society.”

Assisting Good with this campaign is close friend, and popular NASCAR driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Together, the duo will provide rewards “to those that make the largest donations.”

Those rewards include:

From Matthew Good:
-Signed personal Gold Record award for Avalanche (vinyl album inset).
-Several limited edition Arrows Of Desire white vinyl.
-Several Lights Of Endangered Species vinyl.
Lights Of Endangered Species lithograph prints.

From Dale Earnhardt Jr.:
-One Autographed 2014 replica helmet (Full-Size).
-Two autographed die cast cars (National Guard and TaxSlayer).
-Two autographed Daytona 500 win t-shirts.
-Three Autographed hats (2 National Guard and Diet Mountain Dew).

Eight days remain on the fundraising drive. As of this morning, $2,530 has been raised. Click here to make your donation.
