ICYMI: You + Me Impress Ellen DeGeneres
On yesterday’s episode of Ellen, Dallas Green (City and Colour) and Alecia Moore (Pink), took to the stage to give a network television audience of millions a look and a listen to their new folk-based project, You + Me.
Playing the track in which the duo is named after, Green and Moore’s voices mesh beautifully; as does their willingness to complement each other, as opposed to sing over each other.
When host, Ellen DeGeneres asks Green what it was like to make this album with Moore, he asserts: “It was probably the most wonderful time I’ve had doing [music].”
DeGeneres – who like most of mainstream America are coming to realize the supreme talent of Green – extends an open invitation to “come back with or without” Moore. Nice!
