EXCLUSIVE: Stream the Debut Album from The Posts
Riffyou.com is thrilled to introduce you to The Posts, a Mississauga, ON-based rock trio that’ll release their debut, Self-Titled album on October 10 at Sneaky Dee’s in Toronto.
To get you warmed up for both, the band has been kind enough to exclusively provide us with an album stream featuring select full tracks, as well as sample-size versions of the rest.
“I always wanted to be in a band that sounded like Elvis Costello having sex with The Rolling Stones while listening to The New York Dolls,” says Ian ‘Blackie’ Blackwood of The Posts, a veteran Ontario musician who previously played in This Is the Noise, The Artist Life, and Jersey.
“In an era where it seems every band takes themselves too fucking seriously, it’s awesome to be in a band and writing songs that are all about the good times,” adds Billy Marr, who along with Jimmy Roberts, round out the trio.
