Could Jack White be Working with Run the Jewels?
In January, Jack White enlisted revered rap duo Run the Jewels to serve as his opening act for his headlining appearance at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Well, it appears that the three fellas struck up quite the bond, as a photo of White, El-P and Killer Mike popped up today on the Third Man Records Twitter feed.
What makes this photo all the more interesting, is the subtle indication that White will be contributing to the much-anticipated Run the Jewels 3 album. Nothing has been confirmed or denied by anyone involved, but seeing #RTJ3JW next to the photo can surely make many think that something is in the works, or already done.
Run the Jewels was in Nashville last night, otherwise known as Jack White’s backyard and home of his Third Man Records label.
Considering that White is not touring in support of his new album with The Dead Weather, he certainly does have the time to work on more albums.
If this does happen, we expect an epic level of awesomeness.
