CJ Ramone has Signed with Fat Wreck Chords
CJ Ramone, a surviving member of legendary punk collective, Ramones, has signed on with Fat Wreck Chords to release the “Understand Me?” 
7” single on September 30. You can listen to the track right here.
The single’s B-side is a cover of Black Flag’s “Rise Above,” and features guitar work and backing vocals by Dez Cadena of Black Flag and Misfits fame.
“Understand Me?” will be included on Ramone’s forthcoming full-length album, Last Chance to Dance, where he’ll be backed once again by Dan Root and Steve Soto of The Adolescents, plus David Hidalgo Jr. of Social Distortion.

In 1989, Ramone – then known as Christopher Joseph Ward – joined Ramones as their bassist following the hip-hop-influenced departure of Dee Dee Ramone. He’d remain with the crew through their final show on August 6, 1996.
