White Stripes Releasing “Get Behind Me Satan” on Vinyl
Third Man Records, a label at the forefront of the modern wax resurgence, will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of The White Stripes album Get Behind Me Satan by issuing the album on vinyl (for the first time!), on Record Store Day (April 18.)
The double-LP edition of Get Behind Me Satan has been pressed on 180-gram vinyl, with one record coloured red, the other white. Housing the vinyl will be a 12” x 12,” gatefold lenticular jacket that includes “newly-created inner artwork reprising themes of the original promo-only version of the Satan LP” that will be exclusive to this release. Furthermore, the tracklisting has been re-arranged (see below.)
Later this year, a non-exclusive vinyl edition of Get Behind Me Satan will be released on standard black vinyl later this year.
