…When a Snow Shovel Sounds Like a Nirvana Song

Share

For the last number of months seemingly every news story to do with Kurt Cobain or Nirvana has had a serious, deep, if not controversial tone to it. From Melvins’ Buzz Osborne objecting to the Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck documentary; Courtney Love blasting the Soaked in Bleach documentary; to Frances Bean not being that into her late father’s music, there’s been a lot of heaviness floating around.

Now, it’s time for something completely lowbrow but damn entertaining: a snow shovel that – when bouncing off the ground – sounds like the opening riff to Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”

One clever Internet dweller has combined the shovel fall with clips from the video in order to show us that it all makes sense. Some of you will hate this 10 seconds and scream in rage at your computer scene, which we can respect. Many others, however, will watch this on loop and let out a roommate-scaring cackle.
