Watch Pixies Play Small Club Gig in Toronto
On Sunday night at The Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, alt-rock legends the Pixies took to the stage before roughly 450 people. Originally in town as an opening act for the eventually postponed Robert Plant concert at the Molson Amphitheatre, Frank Black and co. instead played one of the city’s most historic, intimate clubs.
This Pixies gig was announced late Saturday evening, with tickets going on sale at 10pm that night for a very reasonable $27 – it was announced as the official afterparty for the city’s Field Trip music festival that took place over the weekend.
Unfortunately, Riffyou.com couldn’t make it to the gig, but we’ve found some fan-shot footage to share – enjoy!
