Watch NOFX Get Some Career Tips on “Sound Advice”
Although Aaron “El Hefe” Abeyta of NOFX was kind enough to speak with Riffyou.com earlier this year about his new label Cyber Tracks, as 
well as his band, it’s well-known that NOFX doesn’t partake in many interviews.
With that in mind, it was a perfect scenario to see the band participate in Saturday Night Live cast member Vanessa Bayer’s web series, Sound Advice. In it she plays media coach Janessa Slater, and each episode features her providing career advice to popular musicians.
While she has so far focused on more pop-oriented acts like Tegan and Sara, Drake, and The Wanted, it was time for her to earn some punk rock cred and go face-to-face with Fat Mike and the fellas. Here, she questions their names, the negativity within the band’s lyrics, all the while believing that NOFX should re-shape themselves in order to get a Broadway musical.
