Watch Marky Ramone Debut the ‘Smartphone Swatter’
When you are at a concert, behind a person that holds their phone up to film a song, do you have to fight 
the urge to clench your fist and give the techy a smack? Well, Ramones drummer Marky Ramone may have solved all of your problems.
In a new commercial, Ramone introduces us to the Smartphone Swatter, a product designed to take care of the jerks blocking your view. ‘What the hell is this?’ you ask.
Well, it’s just punk rock 7” glued to a drumstick.
“Where can you buy the Swatter? Be a punk, make one yourself,” says Ramone. “If that doesn’t work, he adds, just “knife” the smartphone user.
“The next time you take out your smartphone, I’m going to be right behind you with a Ramones 7” on a stick!” continues Ramone in his dry New York accent. “And I’m coming for ya.”
Okay, so this is obviously a joke, but definitely a very practical idea. Excuse me while I go buy some glue.
