Watch Foo Fighters Perform “I Am A River” on Fallon
Last night on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Dave Grohl and his gang of fellow rock n’ roll connoisseurs got back on the late night TV circuit by performing the closing track to Sonic Highways, “I Am A River.”
Joining the guys on this night was a sizeable string section that helped bring the song’s final crescendo to a beautiful place.
As you may recall, Foo Fighters recently spent an entire week on The Late Show with David Letterman, where the band primarily performed cover tracks with a collection of artists who appeared on Sonic Highways. While the performance with Heart was cool, our favourite was when the Foos teamed up with Zac Brown for a rendition of Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs.”
