Wade MacNeil (Gallows, Alexisonfire) Releasing Black Lungs Album Tonight
Wade MacNeil, frontman of Gallows and guitarist for Alexisonfire, is giving fans a big Halloween treat at midnight (eastern time) tonight: a new Black Lungs album titled Pagan Holiday.
Pagan Holiday will be available to download, for free, for two weeks, at www.wademacneil.com. This website will launch later this evening as well.
For those who like to get physical, Dine Alone Records is producing a limited run of 400 vinyl copies of Pagan Holiday. Pre-orders for this option also begin at midnight (eastern time) tonight, but through the Dine Alone Records webstore instead. Bundles including the LP, a 7″ and a t-shirt will also be available.
“All of best things in my life are intertwined with Black Lungs,” said MacNeil. “I met my wife after one of our shows, almost all of my closest friends have played in the band at some point, and the tours I’ve done with this band are some of my favourite memories of being on the road. Four years ago I made this record with a few of my buddies (Phil Waring, George Clark & Pat Mathers). I hope you enjoy it.”
This will be MacNeil’s second album under the guise of Black Lungs and the first since 2008’s Send Flowers.
