VIDEO: Something is Very Wrong with Scott Weiland

Share

It seems like it was just last week that Scott Weiland defended his sobriety after being publicly called out by Filter frontman Richard Patrick. Oh right, it was just last week.

Unfortunately, it appears that Patrick may not have been as wrong about certain things as Weiland claimed, as some disturbing video footage of Weiland’s performance at the Brewster Street Icehouse in Corpus Christi, Texas, on April 28 has emerged.

In one of the videos, Weiland absolutely butchers the vocals on his Stone Temple Pilots hit “Vasoline,” while the other shows Weiland having a large amount of difficulty taking his jacket off, then putting it back on again, as the band gets ready to crank “Unglued.” A roadie eventually had to come out and assist Weiland.

We are not going to speculate or take cheap shots here, but it appears that Weiland is under the influence of something and is not right. It may be time for Weiland to go home and reevaluate, because this is sad.

Whatever’s going on, we hope Weiland gets the help he needs.
