Veruca Salt Return to the Road with North American Tour
Recently-reunited ‘90s rockers Veruca Salt will be returning to the road this summer with a 14-date North American tour that will begin on June 22 in Portland, OR, and close out on July 26 in Boston, MA. Thus far, Vancouver, BC (June 24) is the only Canadian stop the band will be making.
In 2013, the original line-up of Veruca Salt – Nina Gordon (vocals, guitar), Louise Post (vocals, guitar), Jim Shapiro (drums), and Steve Lack (bass) – announced that they had buried all hatchets, and new material was being worked on.
Considering this tour is now happening – and the fact that the band will release a 10” on Record Store Day that’ll feature “Seether” and two new tracks – one has to expect that a new album will drop this year.
We can only hope.
