UnCut Audio: Screaming Females on “Rose Mountain” & Survival
Ahead of making the band’s excellent 2015 album, Rose Mountain, Screaming Females frontwoman Marissa Paternoster battled some serious health issues that forced her and bandmates King Mike and Jarrett Dougherty off the road.
While it’s said that Paternoster was dealing with a serious case of mono, she told Riffyou.com in a recent interview that she never received an actual diagnosis for what ailed her. Now, fortunately, Paternoster is feeling much better, able to tour and subsequently continue to kick much ass.
During our conversation with Paternoster, we discussed how those health concerns impacted the creation of Rose Mountain and how a lesser band could’ve been completely derailed by a similar circumstance.
