UnCut Audio: Dear Rouge Pursue A Golden Future
Life is exciting these days for BC’s Dear Rouge. After having its breakthrough single, “I Heard I Had,” dominate upon various Canadian radio formats for about a year and a half, the band secured a record deal with Universal Music Canada.
With the label support in place, the husband and wife team of Dear Rouge – Drew and Danielle McTaggart – forged ahead with 2015’s Black to Gold, a debut full-length that showcases the band’s ability to craftily mesh pop and rock influences with unforgettable melodies.
As Dear Rouge continues to tour aplenty and rack up the accolades (including the 2015 SOCAN Songwriting Prize), the McTaggart’s are banking on an even more exciting future filled with music and additions to the family. They tell us all about it in this edition of UnCut Audio.
