Tom DeLonge Gets Destructive in “New World” Video
On April 20, ex-Blink-182 member Tom DeLonge will release To the Stars… Demos, Odds and Ends, a solo album that includes “personal recordings of new [Blink-182] demos along with a few extra tracks.”
Ahead of that, DeLonge has released an official video for “New World.” Here, DeLonge is seen smashing up band gear within a vacant, dark room, before roaming the streets with his damaged guitar in-hand. It’s tough not to assume that this is designed to be symbolic of his departure from Blink-182 and willingness to start anew.
