Third Man Records Get Generous for Thanksgiving
Jack White’s Third Man Records is getting into the American Black Friday and Cyber Monday frame of my mind by offering its fans a bucket load of special promotions.
For those in the Nashville area able to get down to the label’s storefront, the remaining general admission tickets to White’s local gig at the Bridgestone Arena in January will be up for grabs. With each ticket purchased, will come a free 7” edition of “Would You Fight for My Love.”
Also available in the store will be limited edition vinyl of The Dough Rollers’ Gone Baby Gone EP and Bill Burr’s Live at Andrew’s House LP. In-store and online fans will also be able to scoop up Sun Records reissues featuring Roy Orbison.
What’s more, Black Friday will see Third Man Records discount most of their inventory 30% in-store and online. Laptop, desktop, smartphone, or tablet buyers need to use the code ‘BLACKANDWHITE’ to take advantage of the offer. This promotion runs through Sunday, November 30.
This takes us to Cyber Monday and a little ‘Lazaretto Roulette.’ On Monday only, Jack White’s ridiculously cool Lazaretto Ultra LP will be available online for $8.99. Those who order it will “receive a little extra something” along with the LP. It could “be just a token of our affection” or “it could be the collector/aficionado’s surprise of a lifetime.”
Meanwhile, Monday will also be a great day for Third Man Records Vault members, who will receive 50% off of just about everything in the Vault store by using the code ‘FRIENDSANDFAMILY.’
Earlier this month, the label also launched its Holiday Help-a-Thon to assist those in need through the Nashville Rescue Mission as well as the American Red Cross.
