The Penske File Sign to A-F Records, Release New Video
Hamilton, Ontario punk rock trio, The Penske File, have signed with A-F Records in the U.S. Word has it that the groundwork for this partnership was laid when the band opened for Anti-Flag on a wintery night in February.
The Penske File’s forthcoming album, Burn into the Earth, will be released in Canada on June 2 through Stomp Records – it’ll emerge in the U.S. through A-F Records shortly thereafter.
“I feel there’s a fluidity and an intensity present that hasn’t been there for us before,” offered Travis Miles of The Penske File during a recent conversation with Riffyou.com. “We wrote way more songs this time around and were able to narrow it down to what we think are the strongest 10. All in all, writing and recording Burn into the Earth was a fun process in a new element. We can’t wait to get in the van And start playing these tunes live.”
Today, the band also unleashed its video for “Damned,” a standout track from the album at hand. You can watch that right here:
