Superman Die-Cut Vinyl Now Available
Mondo, the company that put out a bat-shaped vinyl pressing of Batman: The Animated Series in 2014, is being heroic yet again with the release of its Superman: Animated Series vinyl.
Introduced earlier this year at Comic-Con in San Diego, the Superman: Animated Series die-cut album is shaped like the Man of Steel’s iconic logo. Two versions are available, including one with the classic red and yellow logo, as well as a “Kryptonite Green” edition. Either can be grabbed for $25.
“I wanted to make this a companion piece to my packaging design for Batman: The Animated Series,” Justin Erickson of Phantom City Creative. “While Batman is darker and more serious, Superman needed to be bright, colorful and energetic to reflect the tonal differences between the two.”
The vinyl features music composed by Shirley Walker.
