Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Provides a Funny Update on His Broken Neck

Slipknot’s Corey Taylor is a beast. When he’s not busy fronting one of the most popular metal bands on the planet or railing against concert texters, he’s touring not too far removed from surgery needed to repair a broken neck.

On Twitter today, one of his fans who had a similar injury – @KevyBhoy79 – asked how Taylor’s recovery is coming along. And, well, apparently it’s not. I guess this is what happens when you pass on bed rest to instead go on the road with Marilyn Manson.

@CoreyTaylorRock: “I’m waiting for that haha. I had the disc replaced, #C5C6 and they shaved the bone back. Growing into my spine.”

We don’t know about you, but we think “shaved the bone back” would make for a great title to the next Slipknot album.
