Ryan Adams Returns with New Album on September 9
Modern day alt-country legend Ryan Adams will release his 14th studio album on September 9 through Pax-AM/Blue Note. The Self-Titled affair will be his first offering since the more serious, blues-rock-infused Ashes & Fire (2011).
The album’s lead single, “Gimme Something Good,” has already been made available in 7” form and harkens back to Adams’ ability to provide an introspective lyrical tone, with jangly guitar and an uncompromised hook that instantly deposits the track into your brain for private listens.
This Adams release can be pre-ordered today through iTunes, Amazon, or Paxamrecords.com. Meanwhile, the 7” – which also includes “Aching for More” – is available through Amazon as well.
