Ryan Adams Records Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off,” Previews More
Overnight, Ryan Adams continued his re-recording of Taylor Swift’s excruciatingly popular 1989 album. Less than a day after the pop princess exclaimed her approval for this project, Adams and his band recorded three more songs, including “Shake it Off,” “Out of the Woods,” and “All You Had to Do Was Stay.”
While Adams did not provide any audio samplings for “Shake It Off” or for his social media followers, he did for “Out of the Woods” and “All You Had to Do Was Stay.”
On the first night of re-recording 1989, Adams created versions of “Welcome to New York,” “Blank Space,” and “Style.”
