Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp Coming to Canada
Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp, an organization that pairs music lovers with established rock stars for
multi-day clinics and mentorship sessions, is finally coming to Canada in 2015.
The Calgary edition (May 14-17) of Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy camp will be led by Gene Simmons of Kiss, while the Toronto version (June 4-7) will be helmed by Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry.
“I have a great time interacting with everyone who attends the camp,” said Perry in a prepared statement. “They are so stoked to get up and jam, it’s worth it to be there to experience the thrill they feel from the many accomplishments they’ve learned during their time spent at the Camp. Sharing in the excitement is a real rush for me too. Thanks for letting me be a part of the experience of the universal language of music.”
Joining Perry in Toronto will be Gary Hoey (Jeff Beck, Peter Frampton), Nick Catanese (Black Label Society), David Hull (Joe Cocker, Ted Nugent), as well as Sass Jordan.
Meanwhile in Calgary, Simmons will be accompanied by Lita Ford (The Runaways), Vinnie Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio), Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot), and more.
Additional rock stars will be announced down the road.
While pricing for the Torono Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp has yet to be announced, pricing in Calgary ranges from $600-$7,700. We’d imagine that Simmons will get an amazing cut of that action.
