At the 2014 Polaris Music Prize Short List announcement, experimental Montreal-based collective Yamantaka // Sonic Titan received word that they had been nominated for the second time in their seven year career – this time for their 2013 album, Uzu.
Moments after the news was dropped, Riffyou.com shared a few minutes with Alaska B. and Brendan Swanson to discuss what the recognition means to them, as well as who they’ll be thanking on stage if they come out victorious.
