Riff Clip: Arkells Discuss JUNO Nods & Hometown Odds
Yesterday at the 2015 JUNO Award nominees announcement, rock collective, Arkells, quickly became the toast of the day. In addition to receiving nominations for Group of the Year and Rock Album of the Year (for High Noon), the band was also announced as a performer for the JUNO Awards broadcast, which will be held in their hometown of Hamilton, Ontario.
Shortly after surprising those in attendance with a stripped down rendition of Riffyou.com’s favourite song of 2014, “Come to Light,” we caught up with Arkells frontman Max Kerman to talk about that track, the nominations, as well as hometown pride.
