According to a report by Consequence of Sound, Lana Del Rey has been receiving assistance from The Black Keys’ Dan lana-del-rey-black-keysAuerbach on her forthcoming album, Ultraviolence. Today, the publication posted a photo shared upon Twitter this morning by Del Rey sitting upon Auerbach’s lap. Above it, she wrote: “Me and Dan Auerbach are excited to present you Ultraviolence.”

Speculation of this supposed partnership first came to be in January when No Country for New Nashville spotted Del Rey in the city, working within Auerbach’s Easy Eye Studio.

Earlier this month while meeting fans on the street, Del Rey was caught on camera confirming that Ultraviolence will be released on May 1. She half-heartedly tried to backtrack from that comment a moment later, but didn’t try all that hard to do so.

“It’s so good that it made me forget about the last record. I’m in love with it,” said Del Rey of the album. “I have that romantic feeling about it.”

To Auerbach’s credit, he won the Grammy for Producer of the Year for the work on The Black Keys’ El Camino album. He’s also done production work for Dr. John, Grace Potter, JEFF the Brotherhood, and Bombino.
