Record Store Day 2015 Release List Revealed

While Record Store Day 2015 (April 18) still feels way too far away for the turntable treasurers, ecstatic waxers, and luscious LP lovers, what can bring them comfortable today is the initial (yet incomplete) list of releases.

Some of the highlights thus far include offerings from GWAR, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, The Black Keys, Frank Sinatra, Marvin Gaye, The Kinks, Bob Marley, Paul McCartney, Social Distortion, and Frank Zappa.

Of course, the bulk of the vinyl available on Record Store Day will be highly-desirable, limited edition offerings that often feature intriguing cover tracks, beautifully coloured vinyl, and splits. Even glorious box sets are thrust upon us.

In case you’re new to the whole thing, be sure to get to your independent record store of choice early on April 18, as the best of the batch tend to sell very fast.
