Our Reaction to Lorde Winning “Best Rock Video” at VMAs
Last night at the MTV Video Music Awards (a program we refuse to watch for more reasons than can be listed), electro-pop star and multiple-Grammy Award winner, Lorde, won the Best Rock Video trophy for her track “Royals.”
This victory made her the first woman ever to take home the honour, but it also had many scratching their heads as Lorde left the likes of Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, Imagine Dragons, and Linkin Park in the dust. To her credit, Lorde seemed a little confused by the whole thing as well.
