New Order Releasing First Album in 10 Years
New Order has confirmed that it’ll release Music Complete, the band’s first new album since 2005’s Waiting for the Sirens’ Call. This, New Order’s tenth album, will be released September 25 through Mute Records.
In case you were wondering, Bernard Sumner, Gillian Gilbert, Stephen Morris, Tom Chapman and Phil Cunningham make up the current edition of New Order.
When released, Music Complete will be available on CD, black vinyl, limited edition clear vinyl and digital formats. A deluxe box set will feature eight pieces of 12″ vinyl, including the full album on clear vinyl; while a one-sided black etched 12″ and red, blue, yellow, grey and white pieces of vinyl will house extended versions of Music Complete‘s 11 tracks.
Two hundred copies of the New Order-autographed box set will be distributed at random through the band’s online store.
