New Found Glory Want Fans to Win a Spot in “Ready and Willing II” Video
Pop-punk mainstays New Found Glory have launched a contest to get fans into the band’s forthcoming video for “Ready and Willing II.”
To get in on the action, fans are asked to record themselves covering “Ready and Willing II,” upload it to Vimeo.com and tag it with #ReadyandWilling. Once the video is available in a downloadable format, entrants must email the link to readyandwilling@hopelessrecords.com. The best covers will be chosen to appear in the new video.
“The lyrics and message of this song are to encourage people to never be afraid to take a chance towards something they are aspiring to be. In our case it was New Found Glory,” reads a statement by the band. “This video and your bands participation is to bring some of that platform to bands everywhere that share the same vision and to hope it encourages them to do the same.”
On October 9, New Found Glory will release an expanded edition of 2014’s Resurrection. Titled Resurrection: Ascension, the album will feature two new songs, plus a version of version of “Vicious Love” featuring Hayley Williams of Paramore.
