Metal Singer Falls Out of Tour Bus Looking for a Toilet
Talk about a real crappy situation for Alex Teyen, the singer for UK heavy metal band Black Tongue. 
Now, he will forever be known as the guy who fell out of a tour bus while trying to find a toilet.
As Black Tongue rolled through Poland after a gig in Warsaw earlier this week, near-tragedy struck when the band realized that its singer had fallen from the bus. After alerting the driver to stop, the guys poured out of the vehicle and noticed their injured bandmate on the road. They administered first aid as a concerned motorist called emergency services.
“The victim (Teyen) told his colleagues he was going to the toilet,” explained Officer Piotr Kaciak, a local police spokesman. “The toilet turned out to be engaged so he opened the bus’s door instead and stepped out while the coach was still moving.”
So how does this happen to a person?
“Judging by the manner of the victim’s behaviour, speech and smell we suspect he was under the influence of alcohol,” added Kaciak.
Aha, that makes sense. Alcohol wins again.
Teyen was taken to hospital and treated for multiple facial injuries, but is expected to recover. It’s been reported by The Telegraph that the singer’s father has traveled to Poland in order to help his son get back to the UK.
Black Tongue has subsequently called off the rest of their European dates, but do still plan to hit America in March.
