Listen to Kurt Cobain Cover The Beatles’ “And I Love Her”
It’s been widely known for years that Kurt Cobain was an avid fan of The Beatles. Now, there’s further proof of this as a raw, acoustic cover of the late Nirvana frontman covering the fab four’s “And I Love Her” has surfaced.
Consequence of Sound reports that this version was dug up by Brett Morgen, the director of the Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck documentary.
“You literally go through life with Kurt Cobain in this film and you go through it in his eyes and through his experiences. That’s really rare in a documentary,” recently explained Morgen in a promotional clip for the film. “It was a unique opportunity to do something that has never been done. To present an American icon in a complete naked and honest manner without bringing him down or building him up but where we can look him in the eye.”
