Listen to New Foo Fighters Song: “Something From Nothing”
After months of hearing about how epic Sonic Highways will be, Foo Fighters have finally given us the first single from the new album – “Something From Nothing.”
Recorded in Chicago with Steve Albini, the track still feels very much like the Foo Fighters we all know and love, but does have some added funk and swing to it, making it seem like a step forward for the band. It’s not overtly poppy like many of the band’s singles, but it’s not as if Grohl and the guys need to do that anymore to make an impression.
Sonic Highways is due out November 10 through Rockwell Records.
We’d recommend tuning into The Late Show with David Letterman tonight, as we’d put good money on the possibility of “Something From Nothing” getting the live treatment tonight.
