Liam Gallagher Calls Kanye West “Utter Shit”
Earlier this week, Noel Gallagher called Kanye West a “buffoon” who needed a dictionary, obviously 
questioning the rapper’s knowledge of the word “artistry” after the Grammy Awards fiasco. Well, last night following West’s performance at the Brit Awards, it was Liam Gallagher’s turn to throw some verbal punches.
The ex-Oasis vocalist tweeted “Kanye West. Utter Shit.” Shortly thereafter he tweeted West directly, with a pair of messages reading “…And you’re a million miles away from College Dropout. That’s artistry.” and “Check out Lee Mavers.”
The West Brit Awards performance that Liam seemed to take issue with was that of a new song, “All Day,” which was heavily censored for the broadcast.
“Well, No. 1, somebody should buy that boy a dictionary,” said Noel earlier this week in an interview with Stereogum. “And he needs to look up the fucking term ‘artistry’ and then see if it reminds him, in any way, of Beyoncé. If shaking your ass for a living is considered art, then she’s right up there, no? Can I also point out: Beck can play the banjo. The banjo. That makes him a genius.”
By mutually disliking West, this may be the first time the Gallagher brothers have agreed on anything in years.
