JUNO Awards Coming to Calgary in 2016
As Hamilton, Ontario readies itself for next month’s JUNO Awards festivities, it’s been announced that 
the 2016 edition of Canada’s most prestigious music award show will head out west to Calgary, Alberta.
In addition to the April 3, 2016 JUNO Awards broadcast at the Scotiabank Saddledome, the city will also host a series of JUNO Week events from March 28 of that year, straight through to the day of the show.
This will be Calgary’s second time hosting the JUNO Awards. The city previously held the event in 2008, which led to a positive economic impact of $11.3 million.

“I’m thrilled Calgarians will once again be hosting the JUNO Awards,” added Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi. “This is a tremendous opportunity for Calgary and our music and culture scene.”
The 2015 JUNO Awards broadcast will take place on Sunday, March 15 at the FirstOntario Centre. Riffyou.com will be backstage documenting all of the action.
