Hot Water Music Releasing 20th Anniversary Vinyl Collection
Florida punk rockers, Hot Water Music, are celebrating 20 years of existence by putting out a 20th anniversary career 
retrospective, on vinyl.
The limited edition offering will consist of 4, 180-gram LPs featuring 30 songs from the band’s seven studio albums and numerous 7” releases. A select number of albums have been pressed on starburst-coloured vinyl.
Fans can choose to purchase the standard LP collection for $60, or grab the ‘Mega Bundle’ for $80. The latter includes the four-pieces of vinyl, a t-shirt, as well as a poster.
Both packages can be pre-ordered now, but won’t ship until shortly before the official release date of March 24, 2014.
Currently, Hot Water Music frontman Chuck Ragan is touring in support of his excellent 2014 solo effort, Till Midnight. When Riffyou.com caught up with him in March to discuss the album, Ragan let us in on his writing process.
“For me, there’s always been that fine line of trying to write from the heart and be as genuine as I can be, because that’s how song writing affects me,” explained Ragan. “When I’m writing as a form of therapy, I reflect onto myself, and I have to look into myself, and speak my mind and heart. That can be a rather daunting thing at times because in a lot of ways, I’m really exposing myself…I’m really cutting myself open for anybody to figure out how I’m wired. But in a lot of ways, it’s no secret,” laughs.
