Hetfield: When the Metallica Singer is Blended with Garfield
With Metallica taking an inordinate amount of time to release the follow-up to 2008’s excellent Death Magnetic album, fans need to get their James Hetfield fix somehow. So, why not it be in a comic strip in which the Metallica frontman is blended with Garfield?
Created by Jimmy Two Hands (the man behind the Danzig meets Ziggy strip, Danziggy), Hetfield is a Garfield look alike that’s chin features similar facial hair to that of the human Hetfield. Meanwhile, Jon Arbuckle and Odie bare striking resemblances to Metallica’s Lars Ulrich and Kirk Hammett, respectively.
As for the storylines, they feature Garfield’s passion for food and sleep, and are told through amazing usage of Metallica lyrics. See for yourself:
