Dave Grohl Confirms Second Season of Sonic Highways
During an interview with NME, Dave Grohl has confirmed that there will be a second season of 
the hit music documentary series, Sonic Highways.
“There is going to be another Sonic Highways season,” said Grohl. “It might or might not be international. It might only be international. It might only be England. It might be in England and other places. Or, it’s maybe places in America and people from other countries that are inspired by these places in America.”
He continued: “The great thing about the idea, the concept of the project, is that it can be anywhere because every city has some sort of musical history, but I don’t know. Of all places in the world England and the UK just seems like it would be shooting fish in a barrel. There’s just so fucking much here.”
As you may recall, Grohl had hinted in the past that Sonic Highways could make a return. However, he was less specific at that point than he appears to be now.
“By the time we were finished with [making] Sonic Highways I was just fucking exhausted,” offered Grohl to NME. “But it’s kind of a magical luxury of my life that I’m able to go around and interview people and learn about the history of all these awesome places so I wouldn’t just give it up that’s for sure.”
Grohl, however, didn’t state when the next Sonic Highways would emerge.
