Garage Rock Duo The Pack AD Coming to a City Near You

JUNO-Award nominated garage rock duo, The Pack AD, have provided details regarding the first leg of their 2014 North American tour. Canadian stops will include Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Toronto. All shows are now on sale.

Comprised of Becky Black (vocals/guitar) and Maya Miller (drums), The Pack AD are poised to put out their fifth full-length album, Do Not Engage. To be released on January 28 through Nettwerk Records, the album was produced by Jim Diamond, a man who has worked with the likes of The White Stripes and The Mooney Suzuki.

“He’s very easy to work with,” said Miller of Diamond. “He really gets us. All his instincts are very much anything that we would think of at any given time. We’re all sort of organically working together and it’s really easy. It’s just like friends hanging out.  We didn’t go out looking for a producer, let’s put it that way. That came naturally. We were friends first and it kinda went from there, and that’s how we try to approach everything with our music.”

The album’s lead single, “Big Shot,” has already reached radio in Canada and is sitting at #62 on the Mediabase Canada Alternative Rock Spins chart.
